Carleen Macdermid is funny. Professionally. She has worked hard to become so.

With a Bachelor of Education in Drama, Carleen’s entire life has been dedicated to bringing humour and joy to others via performance or instruction.  She has travelled the world, teaching and performing, and takes great joy in sharing her knowledge both through the stage and the classroom.

Carleen has trained with the biggest improv theatres in the world including the Upright Citizens Brigade, iO and The Annoyance. She prides herself on knowing there is always more to learn and takes great pleasure in constantly updating her training.

Carleen is a massive nerd. She’s passionately geeky about the education process, helping people understand how learning and communication styles can be diversified to better generate and share ideas.

Among other things, Carleen is Australian, liked kale before it was trendy and is the only person left who thinks Pokémon Go is still cool. See? Massive nerd.
