With a Bachelor of Education in Drama, Carleen has been teaching comedy almost as long as she’s been performing it.

Specialising in improv comedy, Carleen takes great joy in passing on her love of the art form to, basically, anyone who’ll listen. From passionate future comedians to enthusiastic hobbyists, everyone is welcome!

• 17 years teaching experience at home and abroad
• Guest teacher for a range of London companies including Hoopla, Theatre Delicatessen and The Nursery
• 4 years as lead teacher for C3Something
• 4 years coaching a range of improve teams across the UK
• Classes or coaching sessions in long or short form improv, sketch and public speaking available

Recent stand out teaching experiences for Carleen include a monthly residential teaching placement in Bristol’s Longform Improv Group and a community outreach project with Southwark school students through Theatre Delicatessen.
